The Creative Arts 4-H Club is gearing up for the 2026-27 school year!
Lead by multimedia artist Miranda Fuller, this monthly club gets into all sorts of crafts and fine arts. All sessions are open to 4th-12th graders, and cost $5 each date or $30 for entire year. Snacks are included.

SEPTEMBER
Suminagashi Paper Marbling
Learn the basics of Suminagashi, the Japanese art of paper marbling. Using ink, water, brushes, and simple tools, you’ll practice making floating designs and transferring them onto paper. We will create several sheets of your own marbled paper to use for cards, art projects, or framing.
OCTOBER
Halloween Collage Creations
Get ready for a frightfully fun art adventure! We will cut, tear, layer, and glue colorful papers and fun materials to create spooky Halloween collages featuring pumpkins, friendly ghosts, black cats, bats, and more.
NOVEMBER
Thanksgiving Pop-Up Cards
Design a festive pop-up card featuring pumpkins, turkeys, or fall leaves. Learn simple paper engineering to make your artwork spring to life!
DECEMBER
Northern Lights Watercolor
Paint the magical colors of the northern lights glowing above a peaceful forest while learning fun watercolor blending techniques.
JANUARY
Jasper Johns — Numbers, Letters, and Layers
American artist Jasper Johns used familiar symbols like numbers and letters as the foundation for his art. Rather than treating these characters as language, he layered, repeated, and obscured them, transforming everyday symbols into abstract compositions. Inspired by Johns’ approach, students will create their own abstract artworks using numbers and letters as visual elements.

How to Draw Horses with Colored Pencils
Learn how to draw horses step-by-step using colored pencils. This class focuses on basic shapes, proportions, blending, and shading techniques to help you create dynamic and expressive drawings.

Paper Flowers
Join us for a relaxing and creative workshop where you’ll learn to craft beautiful paper flowers from simple materials. You’ll be guided step-by-step through cutting, shaping, and assembling petals to create blossoms that never wilt. We will create a set of handmade flowers that can brighten your home and decorate gifts.
APRIL
No Sew Book Binding Junk Journals
Give new life to old papers by creating a handmade junk journal with a fun tab book binding. You’ll transform recycled papers, book pages, envelopes, and other found materials into a unique journal while learning an easy tab-binding technique. Leave with a one-of-a-kind keepsake that’s perfect for journaling, collage, sketching, or collecting memories.
