4-H Daily – Physical Fitness Challenge

Even though we are Safer-At-Home​ during the COVID-19 outbreak, that doesn’t mean we can’t get moving! Exercise is considered an “essential activity”, and for good reason. Physical activity improves our heart health, muscular health, and mental well-being.

The Presidential Youth Fitness Program (PYFP) @ Home is made up of 5 exercises to keep your body healthy, mind strong, and to build good routines. Watch the tutorials on this page to make sure you are doing the exercises​ correctly.

Then, maintain a daily workout routine for 7 days. It should include:

  • Perfect Pushup (2 mins)
  • Curl-up (2 mins)
  • Sit and Reach
  • Pacer Test (65 feet)
  • Squat (2 mins)
